Current Mood: uncomfortable

so thursday afternoon i had stomach pains and they continues through friday.  i went to the campus doctor and she was pretty sure i had appendicitis and so she told me to go to the ER.  I decided I wanted to go to Danbury Hospital cuz I know some of the staff from working at the hospital for 3 years and also my aunt is a head nurse in the hospital too. 
I came home, mom met me and brought me to the ER... got there at 3pm and I got my diagnosis of appendicitis and my appendix had to come out and surgery consultation by 9pm.
surgery went down at like 11pm, woke up and got to my room at 1230, settled in by 1am.  parents went home, i slept and had my vitals checked like 3 times in the night!
hung around, had a minor mental breakdown and then they told me by 2pm that i would be discharged and that i made an amazing recovery.
so i was home by 3pm... now, mind you, my surgery was like 13-14 hours ago... thats amazing!!!

So im home now and just hanging out.
can't go back to school for a week or two
can't lift anything for 4-6 weeks.  meaning no concerts or dances for me, and no heavy tech work... which is sad cuz i love love love that crap
also that means im out of bowling for like 4 weeks... im pissed cuz of ourse im just starting to get good! ERG!

so, for any of you friendpeople reading this... if you have a spare moment this week call, text, im, message or email me cuz im gonna be booooooooooooooored this week!!!

i dont know how to feel

im depressed, sad, nervous, numb and lonely

ok... so i guess thats how i feel...

so, ive realized i fall for guys that are all talk and no action... as in, talking up how great of a relationship we'll have, we'll talk everyday and things will be wonderful.
.....i fall for it EVERY time.
i think its because i want to believe that THIS TIME it will be true
then i get let down and realize that he's just like the rest of them

well... to watch a show anyway.

My mom and I just bought tickets to see Speed the Plow which I am super excited to see cuz I designed props for that show my sophomore year @ CCSU when we put it on.
The seats are pretty sick. FIFTH ROW, Orchesrta, AISLE SEATS.... $250!!!! FOR BOTH!!!!!!! WOOOOO!!

I'm SOOO Excited!

for the record, le creme strawberry yogurt is bangin'

i had a tooth pulled today.... that sucked. but im on vicodin for it... so things arent so bad!

tomorrow im getting my snow tires put on, FINALLY
then im running to the packy and picking up some full moon or blue moon... havent decided yet... or maybe pre-mixed mai tai... hmmmmm so much to choose from!

then when i get home i'll be baking, wrapping presents, listening to christmas music and drinking the day away- YAY!!! :)

from the sounds of it the weather is gonna suck monkey balls, so my plans are gonna be great for it!
although the bummer is Lem and I won't be going to see Seeking Homer in NYC :(

So Saturday I've been invited to 3 huge parties.... 1-Ambers to chill, 2- art's to celebrate maggie coming home from national guard training and 3- nikki's kegger.... im thinkimg its really down to maggie and amber... and im kinda mad at maggie cuz last time i saw her she was all acting like shes a big deal and shit.... ugh.... too many decisions!!!

I just need to state... that I just got one of the best cards like EVER in the mail.... and it was from LindSAY. It made me laugh and smile the whole time I read it!! X-D



Now I'm watching SNL, hosted by Hugh Laurie and it makes me suuuuuuuper happy. Hugh Laurie makes me smile lots too.

So I have this weird situation with a guy Im good friends with and have known him for a few years now and last year we made out once, and it was amaaaaaaaaazing. He was even surprised by it.


Here's the thing... he now wants to fool around with me, and by all means, I'd LOVE that, but right now in my life I'm looking for a relationship. I did the whole no commitment thing for the past two years and I'm over it. BUT I REAAAAAAALLY want to make out with him again and whatever else may happen, let it.


DOWNSIDE: He said no matter what he like never wants to get into a relationship with me because I mean too much to him. *LE SIGH*



oh and then theres a dude, who I am head over heels for... like an unbelievable amount like woah. He says he's not ready for a relationship right now, but I'm thinking he could always change his mind...? NEVER KNOW!!

MANY THINGS TO UPDATE ON....

I MADE A CIRCUS HOOLA HOOP!!!
okay... explanation, the Circus Arts Club here @ CCSU held a workshop...ish and showed how to make your own circus hoola hoop and i totally did it and its awesome! Meg, my roomie, Kristyne and myself went into the lounge and hoola hooped. it was hillarious!

Kate and I are talking again and its amazing, she said she made me a present so now i'm happy i started one for her! heehee.  i heart her mucho and i dont know what i'd do without her!

Speaking of wonderful friends at CCSU, my newest close friend here is Lindsey, shes like a friggin mini-me.... except shes an actor and doesnt look like me.... okay so she's like me but in a different body... and two years younger.  shes great.


I am currently listening to Drum Corps music.... Paddy on the Handcar none-the-less! HAH!

now Cyndi Lauper's She Bop is on... fun fact- that song is about masterbation!

I'm going to be applying for internships for the summer after I graduate this year.  Im excited. I'm applying at a couple places in CT, Sag Harbour, NY and who knwos where else!

I can't wait for some Fife and Drum Jam sessions!! WOO!!

I have an awesome roomie and i'm happy we are so alike and we get along so well.  later this week or next week we are going to watch Elf and having drinks.  there will be much rejoicing! :)

OMG I forgot how awesome Juicy Fruit gum is!!! WOW!

I did really well with my shopping thus far this year!  I finished my mom, rhonda, ashley, frany, small frie, phill, need to buy scratch offs for dad, one more thing for both Marie AND Ambler and I need to do somethin really nice for Lindsey cuz shes a doll.

hmmmmmm what else, what else...... uhm  I need to write 3 papers for Sociology and I 2 are due tomorrow and I havent started them and dont plan on it until the weekend... im at the point of not caring about this class except to just pass... ugh.  anyone want to do my papers for me?  didnt think so.

So... I havent updated in a while, but it seems things are working out and going great and then the next they are horrible.

I was way behind on my work and then i was finally get caught up with it and i found out i was accepted to go to this leadership conference in Vermont to represent CCSU and it's student center workers, along with 6 others from my school. it was really cool

unfortunately two days before we were to leave my boss called my cell and told me she had some news for me and i had to come to her office asap. i went and she told me that my friend Mike McDonald had died. On Tuesday he was hit by a train in Guilford. Mike was one AMAZING person and him and I were hanging out and working our way to a possible relationship. It hurts that he's gone now because he was the one that really got me to like ska a lot and got me into hardcore and having so many music convos of concerts and concert venues and it was amazing. I couldnt help but smile when I was around Mike and I know many others that know him feel the same way.


Rest In Peace Mike "Manic" McDonald, you will be missed more than you will ever know.





On friday I went to Da Bronx to see my Seamus and when I finally got there we were both smilling ear to ear and lughing the entire time.  I am very blessed to have such an amazing guy in my life like Seamus.  I spent a good portion of the evening with him and hs husband TJ and their roomie Tasha.  Tony, Sophia (Tony new gf and I happened to go to DHS with her too!!), Maggie and Lauren ended up coming over as well and we all had some drinks, drinking games and Seamus and I had one of our many intimate convos.  The more I hang out with Seamus the more I love having him in my life!


Thats about all thats going on right now.  Ive done some minor Christmas shopping, i slept a lot today recovering from my hangover and coming back home from the bronx at 3am cuz i drove myself.. hah.
